Get to know me!
Get to know me!
Welcome. Let me start by saying, however, you got here, a card I gave you, word of mouth, link, or by accident, I'm grateful you're here. And hope you’re having a blessed day. I've published this website for the opportunity to tell people a little bit about myself. My talented, beloved family and what I aspire to do, while I’m still able. I know what you're asking yourself; “Why would I want to know about this unknown or his family?” Because I'm everyone's Uncle, that should be enough reason, (respect your Uncles). For those who don't know. In Detroit, when you get to a certain age, you become one of Detroit's family of Uncles. (I know it might be common everywhere, but I can only speak about Detroit). They say to me, “What's up Uncle?”, or “Excuse me Unc”, (sometimes I hear OG or Old School one of’em. --I’m cool with Uncle). I say, “Just trying to stay out the way, Nephew” or “You, good Nephew”. So I figured my Detroit nieces and nephews should know a little something about their Uncle. The artist. And a chance to get to know my brothers, and sisters, along with my fellow Uncles who are artists out there. Also, you can read about my talented family and my artistic aspirations. But I’m not going to bore you with all that right out the gate on this page. You came to see my art, and I'm going to stop stalling. If you are interested in your uncles' story, you can read it here in About Me. If you have the time. And the inclination. Check out Posthumous Tribute and Our Story using the links above. Now, on to the art. Below, in the site gallery, you’ll see a few of my pieces. Or click here on Voidentertainment Art and view all my works posted so far. Or you click the link next to each artwork below. I’ve more to post, so come back sometime to see what I have posted lately. Obviously, I’m not the best artist that ever was (or am I? 😀), but I'm proud of my work. Enjoy!
One last thing. Before you leave, please, check out the Charities I've donated to (or will) they could use our help. Also, there's a section titled Tools of the Trade. It lists what I use to create my artwork. Additionally, you'll find some tutorials I've used to help me get started. There's also a section that lists the hardware I use as well.
I've posted my artworks on devianArt to be part of a community connected by the love of art in all it's many forms. So if you like any of my work or that of someone else, and don't feel like signing up, come back here to let me know. I'd appreciate any feedback or comment you may have. Thank you and have a blessed day.
